Speedo repair or replacement

Post by djhammy »

speedo.jpg
HI ladies and gents after 3 speedo cables in 5 years and much squeaking my garage have assure me the speedo has had it and its not the speedo cable.

The previous new ones did solve the dial fluttering for while though it still fluttered.

The new one fitted last month made little difference. The the pointer fluttered all over the show but never went above 20-30 mph even when doing 70.

Then last week driving to Cornwall it just stopped altogether with just the very occasional movement.

So i have looked and can not see any replacement ones even Brickwerks tried but couldn't help.

Is it second hand time or can you recommend a speedo repair service please.

Cheers Hammy
