oil light issue

hi guys

took my van out today and noticed after running for about half an hour my oil light would flicker when i was at lights at tick over? it went of with a little bit of revs

i pulled over and let the van cool and checked oil but that was fine

just wondering if it was due to the hot weather? as i have not noticed it before

does this happen to any one else?
