I have a nasty hole in the bottom of my bike's petrol tank.....only found it when the filler that was in it (and which I did not know about !) started leaking.
I tried the Plastic Padding fuel tank repair epoxy, lasted 10 days before the petrol ate through. Does anybody have any better solutions ? Is JB Weld any better ? I have a suspicion that the bio-fuel in the pump gas these days is eating through epoxy type fixes and slosh sealants.
I know that getting it welded is the best solution, but that's a bit specialist and expensive, and difficult to find someone willing to weld a large potentially explosive thing

And no, I cant find a cheap 2nd hand one - its a 1988 650cc Africa Twin RD03 and there are only a few in the country.
