Sand Blasting with Ice

Post by SplendiferousII »

I am currently on my travels with work here in eastern europe and saw a guy sand blasting a VW camper underneath with beads of ice. I thought it was fantastic as thee is no mess as it just dries up, well obviously there is allthe crap that comes off but thats it. he had even done the engine! No "pooh"! was thinking to go out and buy the gear, think there would be a good enough market in the uk?

I think there'd be a huge market in the UK. Sandblasting or even blasting with something less coarse like baking soda still creates a massive mess.

I'm going to get the seams blasted on my T25 later in the year before it has a repaint.

Very good idea. And my bet is youd be able to set how harsh the blasting is by setting the temperature differently. I can see a market in that!
