angled plastic flaps above bumper?

Post by 123-jn »

Does anyone know the purpose of the two angles plastic flaps level with the back of my rear fibreglass bumper just below the light clusters? Do they perform any purpose? If so Ill put them back on!! If not they can stay in the shed!!!

Don't know the purpose, maybe cosmetic.
I have big bumpers but haven't got them fitted.

Maybe cosmetic, but I think it is for keeping the lights clear from the mud that gets under the bumper
