Advice needed on alloys and tyres please :)

Post by Devon Pete »

Hi, I have now saved enough to upgrade from the orignal steel rims to alloys. I have done a fair bit of background reading on what to get, but I'm still a little confused and worried about making an expensive error! :? Can anyone make some recommendations for a set of alloys that look good, suit the van, are (relatively) easy to fit and ride well? Ideally I'd also like to know what type of tyre would be compatible with the wheel and able to cope with the load (white westy hightop). All advice appreciated.

:D

Thanks, I just checked them out on google images, they look good! Are you able to post a pic of your van so I can see them in context? Cheers!

Merecedes ML270 16" are a good easy fit.

And in white

You'll need spacers and longer bolts/studs/adaptors allround.

These are quite popular.

Mercedes Toliman alloys are one of the easiest,non-original,alloys to fit Pete as they don't require longer rear studs to fit them.
I've got a set of 15's available at the moment.

And they also look good on these buses.
