gearbox selection probs

Hi all,
Sounds silly but....

What does it mean if the gear stick feels a bit loose and it is hard to select 1st and 2nd

Hi Dorinda,

think it probably means upgrade the "potential requirement to spend considerable amount of money on van" status to RED!

Seriously, hope its not fatal....

Luckily it's not my van, but was one that I went to have a look at, a real cheapie, now I know why!!

Wasn't cheap enough though!

Quite nice would have seperated up kids and unruly husband!!

My van has selection probs when warm. On a run it gets harder and harder to move the stick - fathom that one.....

drop the spare, box under it 4 x 10mm nuts remove box were the gearstick to selector shaft meets shaft take bolt out there are bushes vw do they look like top hats with holes in them they wear try this first
