rear brake conversion

Post by vanjam »

Has anyone done this conversion and found it of use?

http://www.ultimate-engineering.co.uk/disc_kit/

I do a lot of miles in my bus and would like to improve the braking, it has a lot of new hoses and pipes, are there other ways?
Cheers

Mmm.. what engine are you running?
There is nothing wrong with the std brakes when fully serviced and working correctly..
I do a lot of miles in mine.. the velle that gets driven all over at 70-80mph has the early brakes and pulls up great even when fully frieghted and a trailer.. brought my Audi 100 all the way back from Belgium (480miles) on a trailer behind it... trailer + car was... ahem.. 2000kgs (+)
