Courtesy light door switch

Post by 123-jn »

My van seems to only have a door switch on the drivers door. The passenger side has a blanking plug where it should be. Are they all like this?, Does anyone know if the wiring is pre installed or will I need to run a cable across under the dash? Haynes says its a brown and white wire!!

i just sorted my driver door sensor, good clean and now it works.

attacked the sliding door sensor but no joy, the live to it runs under the passenger cab mat. I'm going to move the sliding door sensor onto the passenger door, pull the live back and through. In my opinion, a sensor on the sliding door is a bad idea? when camped with the awning up, i leave it open while we're around, would have to remember to switch off the interior light or risk draining the battery etc.

FYI, just fitted one of these in the light, outstanding light and very white and bright.
