Accident repair done and van back home again.
Took my van in for a quote for the damage repair needed from my rear end shunt last Sunday. Luckily, the tow bar frame minimised the damage caused to the van. So it is a matter of them removing and restoring the glass fibre rear bumper, re-spraying it and putting it back on. Thank goodness for that. It should be back on the road within a week or so, provided the quote is accepted, which should not be a problem.

The insurance ok'd the repair at the beginning of the week (Sheila's Wheels is paying), repair done and brought Ralf home looking the business again today. So great driving home down the A41/A1 with the sun shining and my music playing! It's great to have the van home again.
I'd be away this weekend but my mum is back in hospital having her colonostmy (I think that's what it is called)reversed so need to stay nearby visiting her. I am stunned. She had her op yesterday afternoon and today she was up and mobile looks as if she had not had an op at all. Modern medicine eh - amazing!
