Third Brake Light

Post by slowcoach »

Has anyone fitted one?

one from go westy is a clean example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxV16yx7gFM

wondered if anyone has found a good one thats suitable for our upright rear windows? I like the idea of having brake lights higher up on the back of the van, as theyre very low compared to every other car on the road these days...

:ok

I have one, right above the giant graphic "No worries" at the top of my window. I figure since most people will be reading that, they're more likely to see the middle brake light come on as I slam my anchors on to avoid the moo cow that has just stepped into the road. :D

I have one too, it was fitted when I bought the van. (although it has fallen off a few times)
Mine is set back a little from the screen, so I can see its reflection.
Every time I start the van I apply the brakes and look for the reflection.
I know the two clustered lights could have failed, but at least the switches are working.
(I also look for reflections of the cluster lamps in parked cars and glass doors at work)

thanks everyone,
think ill look out for one that fits 'flush' with the window to avoid reflections. I just don't want to get one that keeps falling off or looks flimsy...

cheers

john.
