Wiring a rev counter. What wire ?

Post by Hendrixevo147 »

Hi, got
Myself a lovely rev counter to fit on my 2Lt Air cooled T25. Wiring will not be a problem as instructions are crystal clear. But I am not sure what type of wire to use? Is it ok to use normal house wire ? As in split up a three core cable and use those ? Also is it best to go under the van or through the inside to the engine bay to the could ?
Cheers
Pete

for that application something a bit thinner - speaker wire probably the best option of non automotive wiring but it'll want sleeving/conduiting ideally
