Just had my electrolux fridge diagnosed as dead. Mains element is not taking any power
Is there an obvious replacement for the Westy

Is it working on gas and 12v? If it is you could possibly just need this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dometic-elect ... 5704437%26" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
New mains element
Mine wasn't working on 220v so after some pointers from people on here I replaced it and it's all hunky dory now

No obvious replacement..but you only need a new mains element and a good service (may benefit from 48 hours on it's head before refitting)
Change the crappy little fan on the back for a 12 volt 120mm chassis fan..lots of info on here if you look.
Clean out the flame box/jet
Adjust the spark electrode to burner air gap (just under 5mm) not in the flame but to the side slightly.
Lubricate the mechanical switch mechanism so all the buttons work freely.
