I know it's been covered here before, I'm after some upgrade CV's as the stock VW ones complain when you put 260bhp through them.
I've seen some Porsche ones mentioned before - where can I get some
and would Syncro ones fit? be better?

porsche 944 turbo (and s3) ones, I think Brickwerks sell them, but used porsche ones seem very very good, but you have to compete with the 944 and 924 boys for them on ebay as they use them for their trackday specials too

Re: Uprated CV joints
The Porsche ones also allow for greater angle of movement too. Mind you, with that level of BHP you could still find the joints wear prematurely, particularly if you're in the habit of letting the clutch go. Plus, like the stock ones there are poor pattern ones around.
