Fuse?

Post by ninja.turtle007 »

I installing 2x 100Ah leisure batteries. They are literally touching each other. Do I need to in a fuse between them? If so what size? The biggest draw will be the Eber which draws 10.5A on startup.

Thanks

I have two batteries, but they are not next to each. I have a 135amp mega fuse between them. Intact I have a few of them on my charging system. If my batteries were next to each other I don't think I'd bother with a fuse, it's more for protection from damage to cable, rather than overload.
