Byway, vehicles and ramblers

Post by KevH »

Ok, as the majority of us syncro users know the ramblers association and government are doing their best to close all the 'greenlanes' in the country to motorised vehicles.

I've just recieved some info from North Hants Council asking for the users of these roads to spare a few minutes to fill in a short questionaire about byway use to enable them to write their new policy on the subject.

We all know that the other user groups know how to make themselves heard, but 4x4 users seem to either get over looked or made out to be the devils spawn and have the evils of the world blamed upon them.

Anyway, to get to the point, if any of you could sapre a moment to fill in and post off this questioaire can you pm me your e mail address and i'll sent you it any the accompanying letter, so at least this time we have a chance to have our say on the matter, and hopefully influence the policy of at least one council.

cheers

Kev

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape; If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

would it be a good idea if someone could host the file as a pdf perhaps so that everyone can access it without exchanging details.

No offence meant Kev, just that knowing some people on here, not everyone gets along BUT share a common interest

ok, have mailed it to clive, so it should appear on the syncro site shortly for you to download :) , as it's about north hants then it could be useful to know that most of their lanes are in fairly good condition and they get driven very regularly by a fair few mud club members

thank you all once again, and thanks to Clive for sticking it in the site
