just spent an enjoyable hour planning lpg stops and an overnight stop for our trip down to Cornwall in the summer.
Used filllpg site to find stations close to the M5 and A38 and within 140 miles of each other.
All makes the trip abit more exciting
Cribbs Causeway (Shell or Morrisons) and either Okehampton or the one at the end of the A30 are the ones we use. Plenty of places to kip .... top of Bodmin Moor off the A30 in the layby near the fisheries sign or in the big dip (there's toilets and a snap cabin there if you don't have onboard facilities) can get full of shed draggers though

cheers Ian , got our stops planned and Andrea aint too bothered about Bodmin after i told her some years ago about the Beast of Bodmin afetr spending the night in a lovely little valley miles from anywhere (she wasnt impressed)
'Andy gas' opposite the shell garage is supposed to be the lowest for lpg at Cribbs Causeway.
I believe you can also kip in the car park of the Fox at Easter Compton, which is 1/2mile on opposite side of motorway J17 from Cribbs Causeway. If you have a few beers or ask nicely they will leave all the toilets etc open for you.
Just to let you know the shell garage at Fradon next to the Mc Donalds dosent sell LPG at the prestent. There is a FloGass outlet In the Victoria bussness park, It's not been open long and has 8.00 to 16.30 opening but at 72p a litre that not to bad for cornwall.
