dipstick housing

hi everyone i have just had a new engine fitted to my van.now i have noticed there is a oil leak coming from/around the base of the dipstick housing.i know that you remove this when swaping/taking engines out.it seems to be a bit loose should this be some sort of push fit with some sort of seal/o ring and if so what size where would i get one,cheers dave

There should be an 'O' ring and a washer and it is a push fit. Brickwerks sell them

I got one last year and it was easy to fit.....that is if its a diesel, petrol I have no idea.

i have actually found the clip to stop this moving further up the housing,cheers dave
