t25 fuel tank

hi how hard is it to fit a fuel tank in to a t25. can i do it on my own or will i need help.and what tools will i need thanks.

you can easily do it on your own its dead simple, when re fitting its easier if you support tank with trolley jack with wooden sheet to spread load onto tank area so you dont dent or damage tank makes it easier when you re atach the sender wires and fuel lines

I need to change my fuel sender and was about to post a similar question, perfect timing.

if you change sender replace it with early type as it has a shield around sender so is less sensative and does not fluctuate on guage when going up and down hills

Look on youtube it`s on there. Just about to do mine next week. Check the rubber around filler neck and the rubber grommet where the neck enters into the tank.

Thanks, I have a spare one, no idea which one I have though. As my temp guage is working but not very well, I wonder if its wiring in the dash thats at fault.
