help needed,urgent,,please

hi all.the rear wheels failed on my mot,they had play in them,the guy who i bought it from said he,d fitted new bearings.the castle nut was tightened with a bar,so if they,ve put new bearings in would the rear wheel shaft be damaged,has anyone had this problem.thanks a mill.and does the bearing need to be pressed out or like we did tap with a hammer and a bit of wood and it came out,cheers.

There'supposed to be play in them ray
... Was the nut tightened with a torque wrench to the correct amount?

seems your mot tester does not know t3 vans, take your van to another garage they have a small amount of play even when new bearing have been fitted , i have never used a press to remove bearings and i have done quite a few
