Distributor part number that I can't identify...

Post by silverbullet »

Bit of a strange one this and rather left-field, so bare with me!

VAG part number 035 905 205 AD, 5 cylinder, vacuum advance. I think that it must be early carburetted Passat/Santana GL5 but ETKA says discontinued 1999 with no replacement, so the trail goes dead.
Bosch part # 0 237 025 025

A google shows up Passat 32B 1921cc 5-cyl WN engine, but it's a catalogue entry so may not be trustworthy...

Can anyone verify? I'd like to pass it on FOC to someone who might just need it on a bad luck day, but would like to know that it's the correct one first.

This distributor was fitted to an LPG-only Audi 20V engine that I acquired a while back, now finally being stripped down for rebuild & modification 8)
