Okay.
So my 1.9 dg running on petrol/lpg has been a bit iffy on the petrol side. Poor starting, poor idling, hesitant on acceleration, down on power on hills. And today, it's started stalling on petrol when the van comes to a stop at roundabout/lights etc.
Pretty much okay on lpg, perhaps a little underpowered but nothing much.
I thought it might be an air leak on induction, but so far I can't find anything.
All new coil, HT leads, rotor arm and dizzy cap. Nope, still all the same. Took the vacuum hose off the vacuum advance unit and theres still a lot of resistance and the dizzy/engine responds when I give it a suck.
Also had the air filter off the carb and sprayed in carb cleaner over a few days in case it was general dirt/blockages.
The fuel filter was replaced last year but I haven't done many miles on petrol so don't think it can really be that.
So could it be the fuel pump?
Any ideas would be greatly received.
