Putting down tiles

Post by tforturton »

My bus still has the original shaped 'fillets' of chipboard, that sit in the grooves of the floor, and create a level surface. Is it possible to lay tiles straight on top of these three pieces, or is it not advisable? If so, what's the best stuff to stick it down with? Will evo-stik do the job?
I don't really want to put down a plywood floor, as I still use the middle row of seats.
