T4 Syncro gearbox
bumped into a 70+ year old farmer the other day who had a great , well used, t4 syncro single cab. had it for 17years! used every day in the fields. Anyway the box is whining in every gear, he would like to get it refurbed as at his age he's dosent really want to get into buying (E D I T) a new vehicle. any recommendations for who would take this on? Aidan? would be good if we could help him out

Re: T4 Syncro gearbox
what code box - some of them are only £1600 plus vat on exchange from vw for the early T4 syncro
I don't do them, don't know who does, Black Diamond in Warrington do a lot of 02family boxes, early t4 syncro is 02D probably £900 up

Re: T4 Syncro gearbox
Easy repair those...be the pinion bearings I bet but not as involved as a syncro box...unless its the bevel box...doubt it would be but never know.
