im looking for some advice on cutting the foam for R & R bed,do i need to cut it fractionally bigger than i need.any advice would be great. duz anyone know of a decent upholsterer in brum :lol:

hi ive just done mine ,hand stitching the covers with piping ,labour intensive but well worth it I cut the foam same size as base and put 25mmmemory foam topper which I added 5 mm all way round ,made covers 5mm less to allow for some stretch ,the finish looks good but could maybe have done with slightly over sized foam aswell, reason I didn't was I was worried it may rub on cabinets and side of Van which over time might excellerate the wear on leatherette, in summary there's a few factors to consider like type of r n r bed Van layout type of material etc, hope this helps
