Post by harry123 »

hello,

one of my water pipes needs replacing - it goes across the engine is about 2 foot long and at one end you can attach a sensor and two other pipes . You can tell i am not mechanically minded. i am at a loss where i can get a replacement from i have tried various web sites but cant seem to find one that looks similar. can any one point me in the right direction please

unfortunately as it is so rusty there is not id code on it

thanks for any suggestions

There's one on parts emporium, looks rusty as hell and he wants £40 for it, but long obsolete as a new part.

Listed about half way down page as "VW T25 t3 1900 metal water pipes" with pic.

Failing that, there's a slightly different one (for a DF but will fit with a little modification) on the bay of fleas

Surely this pipe could be made up out of silicon and suitable elbows/t-pieces these days. As long as everything joins up and its watertight.

The parts emporium one looks rusted (see pic below)

For reference the part number is 025-121-081D

Maybe Billy739 as one or wagonbuild.com

or Mr Cheese http://www.t25direct.com/metal-coolant- ... -292-p.asp

There is a C suffix DF engine variant on ebay that has one pipe port in a different place but I'm sure you could take a pipe from there to the carb?????
