hi all,at a loss.how do the number plate brackets fit the back of a air cooled t25,i can see the holes where the wires go through and thats it,got 2 number plate lights with brackets that they sit in and dont have an idea of how,or where to fit ,any pics would be great.thanks a mill.ray

They slide on from the rear and clip into place.

ta, wasnt goping to try explain as a picky says it all and better,
ray ,remember to depress the tangs and hold them down prior to pulling away from the van

I dont have one on my 81 AC. Am i right in thinking i need one for MOT?

Yep rear numberplate illumination is part of the MOT.

Try wagon build. They normally have a couple in.

Thanks for that there are some on there but for working ones about £16 each. Think ill look for something after market that might work. Will let you know how i get on.

why don't you get some used ones if you can't afford £32?

Because the used ones i have found all need to be repaired. And £32 is for used ones on the above site. Found some nice looking LED ones for about £10 sealed units too so no problems with corrosion etc. Have other more important things to sort first so not too worried at the moment.
