Hi can anyone help please.
I have a1982 Danbury T25 with a side hinged pop top. Where the hinges are conected to the roof the bodywork is rusting, almost through in places. So I need to replace a section of roof and refix the hinges to solid metal.
Where can I get the gromet thingeys that are fixed into the roof to take the bolt hinges and what are they called. The bolts for the hinges screw into them, so they are threaded inside. I need to replace them as originals seem to be knackered. (technical term!)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Pop top help needed - fixings
Bought our second t25 in June 2012 after 18 months without one. It's good to be home. I am now the proud owner of a mobile project. 1982 Danbury conversion Aircooled and all totally original. Got some work to do!!!

Drill them out and put some large rivets in.
