when the head gaskit blew the heat must have been horrific as i warped not only the bottom of the head but there was also distorshion on the top of the head putting stress on the cam shaft,

the turbo, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold were all sent to ian for a tickle, and came back faced so now they are all smooth and flat.
the old and new head went to a local diesle specialist to remove the injectors spray test them and then reinstate them in to the new head , i got a phone call from them about an hour after i dropped of the head when they told me that 2 or the injectors were td ones and the other 2 were n/a ones, they sourced the correct ones and fitted them in t the new head.
so i finished work early to day and had a fiddle around in the garage reassembling things until the weather improves and i can go re fit it all this is where i am at the moment.
i am sure that were will be some more questions as i go but this is the first one
i cut a section of m10 sud to hold spring in the blow off valve then tighened the grub screw is this what understood was the right thing to do?

the union for the turbo oil feed (in the pic) dose this seal on just the threads alone?

i did not make a note of the route of the flexable hoses that link the injectors dose this matter or not the routing of them ?

thanks neil
