2L Aircooled oil leak

I have a small leak and it looks like its coming from the big flat head screw from underneath. Is this some sort of peasure relief valve?

first of all see if its tight if not tighten it up then either clean it of and degrease it completely then add a bead of silicon sealant round the fastening , if you want to do it properly drop the oil let it drain completely then fit a new o ring and re tighten

i used a 2p coin in a pair of molegrips to tighten mine , if you decide to remove and drain beware there,s a pressure relief spring behind the slot make a note which way it comes out
