Hi just been speaking to my mechanic whose helping me do the conversion. At the moment it seems the aaz engine i have is one of the newer ones or toward the last they did. My mechanic reckons that the fuel pump fitted is around 2002 so won't be of use to us - he reckons our life would be easier if I got fitted a fuel pump from a aaz year 1996 (think this is mainly to do with ecu or something on this newer pump?) and also get the timing plate cover and bracket with it if we could - does this sound right???? If so any ideas where to find one?
Wish I'd never started
