Had my van since September, recently serviced, last used it on Tuesday now it won't start! Turns over but does not seem to fire. Has been raining the last 24 hours, damp perhaps?
Any ideas our help would be appreciated for this
Thanks

Re: van won't start :(
AA man came and managed to get it started after talking plugs out and cleaning out fuel in cylinder chamber s. Still gave trouble to start this morning, it definitely does not like the damp conditions.
What can I do to help prevent this? spray WD40?, but where ?

Re: van won't start :(
Apart from the obvious 'Not Starting' what is it doing?
Turning over slowly
Starting but very rough idle
Stalling
Not firing at all
2.1 injection models don't need the throttle depressing first, they normally start instantly although they are known to overchoke a little but you just let them idle for a minute or so before trying to drive.
They are also not known for 'damp start issues'....what did you change on your service? it might be worth investing in a new distributor cap/rotor arm/plug leads and plugs but make sure they are quality and not poor aftermarket.
Now check all the vacuum hoses etc.
