Propshaft Yolk

Post by torchy »

I've come to replace the UJ's on my 1.6TD propshaft ( The one with the Rubber coupling) Front replaced OK but the rear yolk, on the gear box side of the rubber coupling, has taken a bash at some point and one side has bent in very slightly so we can't get the new the cups for the UJ's in.

Does any one have an old propshaft (with the rubber coupling type) or just the offending Yolk I can buy of them.

Baxter doesn't want this shaft back as in it cannot be reconditioned (naturally) and since I have already paid for the new UJ's absorbing the surcharge plus the cost of the shaft is an expensive option.

Help Please.

Many Thanks

Peter
