Hi Lift Jack extension

Post by jes*b »

In the spirit of getting organised and equipped I did get round to buying a 48" hi lift. Don't have an extension for it tho  Has anyone got a spare pre loved one to save me shelling out on a new one?
cheers

In the same position Jes. I'm keeping an eye on ebay as they do come up. Just missed one on Saturday evening. They seem to be very expensive for what they are.

You can use a landrover one at a pinch. Or hack a vw one to get the jack point off it an weld to box section.

That's an idea - then add lynch pin and R clip to keep it in place just like the Landy ones do.

just spoke to an ebay seller (£20 for adapter) and he wasn't sure that the adapter for Jackall & T Max would fit the Hi LIft brand. The Hi Lift adapter itself is around £40. I have a Hi Lift 48" jack. Any ideas?

I have my Hi-Lift mounted to the side of my custom roof rack and have just taken the hight barrier out at Toys'R'Us in Croydon with the jack extender sticking up above the roof rack

I had to laugh when some old gravel voiced Gypsy looking old lady said, "You dont have Joker on your van for nuffink buv"
