Converting Clarke 150TE to gas

Post by 1_eyed_jim »

Evening. Bought a 150TE and it has no connection for the gas at the back but has a gas valve in the trigger?? The seller said it can be converted for about £30 but I cannot seem to find any information about converting these. Thanks

Not dealt with that model myself personally, but sounds like all the gear should have been with it.....

Also says on the Machinemart site that it is a gas welder.
Probably worth contacting clarke and seeing if there is another setup for gasless, and whats needed to convert to gas.

Is this where it enters the gun?Image

Guessing it feeds through the back at the top here?

Will I need a new swan neck as I cannot see where the gas holes are?

If you use this kit it should be able to convert it over , plus this is a much nicer torch and uses a electric solenoid so acts a lot better than the trigger based ones! I have one like this on my cebora mig and it works brilliantly!
