Official VW fuel consumption figures for syncro

Lifted from vwpix.org (where else?) but well buried in the T3 pages under Prospekte/Deutschland/1986_06_Der_Volkswagen_Transporter_und_Caravelle_syncro

All in l/100km, thought that it might make for interesting reading given the usual hoo-ha over what mileage you can reasonably expect from any given OEM engine.

Rework the kraftstoffverbrauch figures using this:

"Divide 282 by the litres/km figure e.g 12 L/100km. 282/12 = 23.5 mpg"

Were they really so bad on fuel when new? Clearly pushing past 90 km/h is a fool's errand as the mileage drops off dramatically, increasing by about 1/3 in most cases. Except for the TD, which wouldn't do 120 km/h...

But then again the DG could only just get there. Probably why there's no fuel figures for those speeds!

PS "Stadtzyklus" means Urban cycle, near enough.
