T25 door draught strips

Just got these. how do they fit on the pillars as tried fitting them to extension of guttering that runs down pillar on side of windsceen but they come off??

Can anyone offer advice?

They clip onto the door on the front diagonal edge.
If you look at the seal it has a small return lip, that clips under the metal part of the door and touched the main door seal.
