That is parked about 4 minutes walk from my house, I think someone has been living in it for a while at one point.

The usual rules of £15,000 apply

Did you see the fella down the scrappy on the A217 has a Syncro Doka with a vinik? Bought from Poland for not very much by all accounts.

I've been watching this one, as looking for a donor diesel for project syncro Atlantic.

So would £1,500 over the top for a donor van, don't need the engine as already have 2x spares, I just need all the other parts and I'm happy to strip and inspect both boxes, plus I'm in no rush, I mean I'm happy to fit all the other parts and leave the gearbox till last.
Mind you I already have the front end ie sub-frame, suspension (minus the box), gearstick and rods & prop, so is £1.5K to much for what I need to get??

what more do I need??
Front & rear box (no rush on these) as happy to use it 2wd for some time
Fuel tank
Fuel filler (although I do have a round one from a pick-up which I sould use instead??) Would this look OK? any thoughts on that??
Diff selector panel and vacuum parts
Engine mounts
Rear shocks & spring (might be best just to buy new)
Need steering rack mounting panel

can you think of anything else

Engine bars
Rear gear link
Engine protection
Prop protection
Front bash plate
Prop
Diff lock control panel and vacuum system
Etc

If I was converting a 2wd to a Syncro I would buy this or another complete Syncro. It will be very expensive and hard to find all the major and minor parts seperately. Plus you don't know what parts you need and I doubt anyone has a comprehensive list. It would be far easier to have a vehicle to swap the parts from.

If you Atlantic is as good as you say it is you need to have everything you need and not have parts missing and spend years with it not finished 100% while you search high and low for the missings parts.

Same as if I wanted to converts a caravelle to a westy, I would use a rotten doner vehicle. As you would never find all if the minor trim parts etc.

Rough I idea on what had to pay on Syncro specific parts when I went petrol to TDI
Diesel fuel tank £200
Rear link bar £30
Engine bars £100
Engine protection £100
