Engine number

Post by Ralf85 »

I know I ought to know this by now and I cannot find it on the wicki, but can somebody confirm where the engine number is on the block. I need to get some parts for it. I think that it is a DF engine but I need to confirm it as I have found out that as my van was built on the changeover period 1984/85 not everything is consistent. For example my roof canvas arrangement is actually a type fitted from 1986 onwards. The earlier type does not fit. Cheers guys.
