hi the problem i have is that when i turn the key on my van.it turns over very slow just change the starter and it still the same has any one eals had this problem.the battery is fully charged but im not sure what amp the battery should be.the one that come with the van is a halfords one and it has 360 amps on the sticker on the top.can anyone help me please thanks. just went out and put a booster on the battery and it turned over ok.
If it turns over ok with booster cables on then 99% its your battery,
Did you connect the booster cables to you battery or did you connect the -ve to the chassis? or the engine? you may have a poor earth connection.
360 cranking amps sounds about right for a waterboxer, but you forgot to tell us what engine you have?
Did you change the starter bush when you changed the starter?
Check the battery voltage it should be at least 12.6v

just went out and put a booster on the battery and it turned over ok.
hi the engine is a 1.9 dg and when i boosted it i put the booster to the battery.
