This is for sale ...... just sniffing

Post by syncropaddy »

Probably one of the best relatively untouched Syncro DoKas about is going to be offered for sale in the next few weeks. Its an 1989 LHD twin locker Turbo Diesel with only 66,000 kms on the clock, checker plate bed, ProjektZwo roll bar and bumpers and 16" alloy wheels. It is totally rust free and never been touched up or had a bang. It recently had a new exhaust fitted, is fully serviced, everything works, has not been off roaded and is with its current owner for about 3 years and was laid up before that for about 4 years. I drove it about 2 years ago and was well impressed with it. It really is a very tasty van altogether.

The downsides of it IMHO are that the interior is a mis match and has no power steering - but thats just me!

The real downside is that it jumps out of first gear so there is some form of a box rebuild needed ...... but thats it.

Right now its not for sale but if the right interest is there then it will be and the price region will be about €9,000.00 EURO

That is a ProjektZwo tailpipe ..... It's gone anyway as the exhaust was recently replaced

Im not selling anything at the mo. Not even anything thats broken. If anyone wants to come to my house and offer me enough money for stuff thats broken then it will be for sale.

Same logic i use- great minds think alike!

No not as far as I know. It cruises easily enough at 70. This DoKa puts my van to shame it's so clean

The owner also has a Westfalia Hi Top and one has to go so it's the Syncro as it hardly gets used. If the interest is there then it will be for sale but if not it will just go back into the garage for another day.

It belongs to a guy who asked me to post it up and 'get a feeling' if there is any interest or not. If there is a bit of interest then Ill pop it into the For Sale section but if not the thread will die.

Is that the famous Irish logic? :rofl :rofl :rofl

Advertise the f'ker in the For sale section, if there's interest it'll sell, if not, it won't. Simples. :?
