Anyone bored/out of work? The ETKA project
I keep seeing people saying vag cat doesn't work this week etc.
Simple idea that would help those without ETKA / ETOS.
Just open ETKA and print to PDF each page and collate into one nice PDF.
I would love to do it... Honest, just don't have the time.
It would be a great resource for the club and can be done for free, just needs time, ETKA and something like http://www.pdf24.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It could then be used on iPhone, android, iPad and probably kindle, even printed if your that way inclined.

Oh go on then.
Come and do it here so long as you stick a front arch in the rotten Syncro sat on the ramp I'm struggling to find the time to do.

I'd be prepared to spend an hour a day doing that but I don't have the ETKA.

Re: Anyone bored/out of work? The ETKA project
The infamous "twentyfive" is a designation for a fire tender or some such thing isn't it? Anyone ever seen a pic of one?Probably near-impossible to google, given the current use of the term for a Transporter3...
and yes I did once think that type 25 was the correct term a very long time ago

Re: Anyone bored/out of work? The ETKA project
Thinking about it, you can't really get away with doing just one year either as stuff changed year on year.
1980 to 1992 in 2wd and 86 to 92 in Syncro is 18 lots, it's a big ask!
Paul, I have ETKA on disc, but it's my only copy and I'm a mong when it comes to copying discs, if I posted it would you copy and return it?
If done it would make sense to name each page as a the drawing number so you could put a menu system in.
I think for Syncro you could probably get away with doing 1992 and working backwards from there. 2wd is a bit more fiddly with the air coolers .
I dunno, just an idea, nice if it worked, would save people fannying about on hit and miss Russian sites.

just 20 mins of work..
http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/images/Simo ... /trial.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I think with a menu at the beginning so you can skip to the right section, and a bit of fettling up...
