Battery earth strap fixing
On my 1985 Devon Moonraker the earth strap looks very badly discoloured towards the body fixing point and I am thinking of renewing it and making sure the earth is good. Is the strap fixed to the bodywork with a bolt with a separate nut underneath the wing or does the bolt screw into a captive nut fixed to the body metal ?

Im fairly certain mine was a captive stud with a nut.
Auto sleeper fitted with EJ 20 subaru lump
