Having got hold of a couple of good s/h bearing housings for £15- each from T25 direct!!!! I have taken out the old bearings from the housings. I am left with a large and small inner guide tube as in pic. Is the smaller one simply the inner piece of one of the bearings or is it an extra internal guide sleeve?
Does it matter which way round each side goes in, I.e. it appears that each bearing is the same on both sides but am I missing something about them having an inner and outer 'face'? Thanks.
Finally, I presume the 'inner' is the side nearest the cv joint?
Any tips of what distance to degrease with prior to using bearing seal on housings...., many thanks to the experienced:)
