Tail gate and sliding door seal - which glue?

Post by timski »

Hi Guys,

Any recommendations for a glue of some kind for securing the sliding door seal and tail gate? I'd like to replace it with something that secures it well enough but will allow it to be removed without damaging the seal when you do (for future renovations etc).

Cheers,
Tim.

Sikaflex/soudaflex etc. will do the job (I've done a piece on mine) but you will only be able to get it off again with a sharp knife and lots of elbow grease and you will have to hold it in place with masking tape until it cures.
