2.0 cu air cooled problem under load

hi everyone i have 2l air cooled problem just occured out of blue the engine seems to die under load and come to halt .but when stationary will tick over fine and rev fine but drive 200m it will die .it has electric fuel pump could this be the problem ? or any way of testing it ?i just clutchin at straws would b very grateful 4 your help

i only changed filter about 8 weeks ago but the other was in bad state and not changed 4 years but i will have a look thanks
