stupidity!!! wires to a carb!!
i took the engine out of the van 3 year ago and just recently got round to fitting another one back in, 1.9 DG petrol with a solex carb, but im confused to know where and what colour are the wires that come/go/attach to the automatic choke housing, the single wire that fits to the distribuator and where do the 2 wires that split from the side of the carb (looks like a solenoid) go to?
as for the stupidity, i know i should of labeled the wires before taking the engine out

Solex carb on a DG?
Pierburg 2e3 as standard I always thought.
Theres a manifold heater (thick red) and an idle speed cut off solenoid, choke heater...all black with different coloured connectors.
