how big is a T25 fuel tank??
I had been led to believe that it holds 60 litres but I have now filled my gipsy 3 times with over 65 litres, yesterday I put in 68.93 litres and it wasn't even empty when I started

According to Herr. Volkswagen the fuel tank on a T25 holds 60 litres or 13 gallons in real money. You put in 68.93l & you didn't have wet feet?

67L in belgium, 66L in stourbridge and the 68L in leicester.
definitely no leaks, every time the gauge was just creeping into the red and I'm not ramming it full either????
this being my first T25 I don't know how much fuel you have in the red but I would guess at least a gallon which means my tank holds at least 74L
was there another size tank????

This thread reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask for ages...
When I fill up, I have to let the pump trickle... anything else and it clicks-off! I have to just put the tip of the filler in the neck and I can see all the froth as it goes in. Obviously some kind of breather is blocked or something.
Is this common and easy to fix?
It's more an annoyance than anything else, although a few garages now seem to be putting time limits on their pumps. I only got to 6.57 UKP at a forecourt down south before the pump switched off!
