Cylinder arrived and I'm attempting a fit nut there seems to be an extra exit for which isn't on the old cylinder. There's an electrical connection at the one end which is ok but there's another one at an angle that I don't use. Can I just blank this off with a normal bolt?

After a bit of further reading I should really use a stop screw, anyone know if you can buy these single and where to get them?

A picture would help but some where fitted with two brake light switches. If it is for a switch just fit another switch you've got a spare already fitted then.
