Wood and vinyl cupboar doors

Post by karenkte »

Still looking at campers....and have found another possible one...but the vinyl on a lot of the interior doors has been ripped or worn...although the wood itself is ok. This is the only thing putting me off this van.
Is it possible to have this replaced properly to look very similar to the original....has anyone done this and if so any details much appreciated.

Hi Karen,

Look here: https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... 0&start=75 Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can see what works involved. There's also a link to the place where I bought the stuff; they sell all sorts of covering so if you dont like mine, then I'm sure theres something else that would fit your bill.

Good luck with it, its not as difficult as it might look, it just takes a bit of time and patience.

Doug.
